长期聚焦芽孢杆菌及酵母菌化学品合成与转运机制和代谢工程改造的研究,包括可降解材料聚乳酸合成的单体L-乳酸和D-乳酸及高分子生物聚合物聚谷氨酸的生物合成研究。
