Research Area:
Bacterial physiology and metabolism

Research Interests:
Our interests are mainly centered around bacterial physiology and metabolism. We hope to use our knowledge of bacterial physiology in the development of microorganisms for biotransformation and biocatalysis applications. The group is currently actively working on the identification and characterization of novel enzymatic reactions and metabolic pathways, and their improvement and application. We try to study bacterial functions at an integrated level by analyses of protein interaction and omic data.
