Delegations from Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences（IMCAS）and CAS-TWAS Centre of Excellence for Emerging Infectious Disease（CEEID）visited Brazil
Recently, the IMCAS and CEEID delegations visited Rio de Janeiro and Manaus in Brazil for a five-day academic exchange and cooperation in the field of infectious disease prevention and control.
Focusing on the cutting-edge research, prevention and control strategies, medical resource sharing, and scientific talent training in the relevant fields, the delegation engaged in in-depth exchanges with many Brazilian researchers, experts and scholars at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation and the Brazilian Academy of Sciences.
This visit is a deepening and expansion of the long-term cooperation and exchange between the two countries, helping both nations achieve new breakthroughs in the field of infectious disease prevention and control. Both sides stated that they will continue to strengthen scientific research and cooperation in the future, promote the continuous development of their comprehensive strategic partnership, and make positive contributions to global scientific and technological progress.
