CAS-UdeCon Webinar on Clinical Research of COVID-19 Vaccines was held successfully
Since the outbreak of the COVID-19, more than 15 million people have been infected worldwide, and the number of new cases in a single day has continued to break historical records. Furthermore, the infection rate in many countries has been on the rise again. Controlling the spread of the virus is the key to prevention, and the development of effective vaccines is one of the important measures for the long-term prevention of the pandemic.
Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMCAS) and Zhifei Biological Group with University of Concepción, Chile held a webinar on August 14, 2020. The Participants discussed the collaborations on phase 3 clinical trial of COVID-19 vaccines in the current context to address the issues faced by COVID-19 vaccine development.
